Worship is More than You Think

December 3, 2020 –

Worship is not a single activity. It is a day-in-day-out service experience. Worship is our daily experiences traveling the Jericho Road, looking for an opportunity to be God’s “Good Samaritan.”

For many believers, worship has become synonymous with their Sunday thing — but that’s just one day of the week. True worship expresses itself seven days a week, fifty-two weeks each year. Real worship happens when we show our love for God by helping our neighbor.

It isn’t until we can see that God inside us is more significant than any outside gods that we can worship in spirit and truth. Love of neighbor is second only to love for God. Get your priorities in order, and you experience worship.

Former American Pastor A. W. Tozer asserted, “I can safely say, on the authority of all that is revealed in the Word of God, that any man or woman on this earth who is bored and turned off by worship is not ready for heaven.”
