Think

“Thinking is the soul talking to itself.” — Plato

My wife often tells me I spend much of my time lost in thinking.

Last night I was thinking, which is not unusual for me. I have enjoyed exposure to ideas like thinking and coloring outside the box during my lifetime. And I have reflected on Rodin’s sculpture, The Thinker.

The paradox of brain-thinking is that when you think positively, you get positive results; by thinking negatively, you get negative results. When you think positively, you create solutions when no solution is clear. Let your brain, the most complex organ in your body, manipulate and organize the information you have fed it.

Many people can reform their thinking habits by practicing positive optimism. Hopefulness and confidence about the present and the future help eliminate worrying. The thought of removing worry with a positive attitude is alone worth thinking about. Motivate yourself by thinking positive optimism, and you will be productive and happy for a lifetime.

Develop an inclination to have a positive attitude. Sit down and place your chin on your fist—aka the Thinker.

Think about how God provides for your needs. “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Matthew 6:25, ESV)
